Word of the Day 5 – WHY
The daily diet of positive words – Word of the Day 5 – WHY
Inspiration from Dimi
In the hustle and bustle of life, in this noisy world, we often forget our dreams, we have problems, worries, we are under stress and we lose motivation.
We need to have strong reasons behind our vision, behind our goals. Why are we doing something? Why are you reading that book? Why are you taking that course, that exam? Why do you want that job? Why are you studying another language? Why do you want to move to live in another country? Why? Why?
You need to find the core of your quest. That’s why it is important to get as deeper as possible into your reasons. Why is something important to you? This exercise is called 7 levels deep exercise. But I encourage you not to stop to number 7, but to continue. When you are clearer on why something is important to you, you will feel more motivated.
(I have learned this exercise from Dean Graziosi and his book Millionaire Success Habits. But I have seen it before that, too, just without number 7.)
Keep that list of reasons - the nitty-gritty – they can motivate you to take actions so you can propel your life forward.
Try this exercise and do let me know the results – Does it work when you reach number 7 or do you need to go deeper?
