How to Promote Yourself Effectively on Social Media
I have learned these tips from Chalene Johnson and Brendon Burchard, but I have seen these strategies implemented by many other successful people on the Internet.
The key here is the video. Video is the king nowadays and the fastest way to build relationship. So you start with a video or better Facebook Live video. FB Live video is like your own TV show. The point is the video to add value, because I don't want when I turn on the TV channel to see ads.
When you create the video, you can
transcribe it and make from it a blog post. You can use the YouTube automatic translation or services like - https://www.rev.com/
convert the video into audio format and turn it into podcast e.g. with Audacity and post it on ITunes
take the quotes from this video (the wise things which you said) and create picture quotes and share them on Twitter, Instagram, etc. – Check out 20+ EASY Ways to Make Picture Quotes Online!
chop the FB live video up to 5 videos and post them on Youtube
schedule all of the posts to be automatically done and in this way to have a content for months for all the major social sites (You can use https://hootsuite.com for instance or https://buffer.com )
The next part is everything to be connected.
You embed the YouTube video on your blog. Below the video, there is the transcript, the audio and also some picture quotes. Everything this should be linked, meaning when I open for instance your video on YouTube, in the description area of it, I can find a link to your blog post. When I open your blog post, I can see a link to your YouTube video. Brendon calls this cross linking.
As well as that, don't miss another great option - webinars! Webinars are a great way to promote your services. You can create live webinars or recorded ones.
I think it would be a good idea for the future to do automated webinars running 24/7 and to promote them with Facebook ads. I have to say I ended up watching many webinars this way and now with FB targeting, you can do really amazing things like targeting people who are interested e.g. in coaching and are fans of Brendon Burchard FB page.
In order to be successful in videos, like in everything else, you have to be consistent (every week a new video or these days better FB live (I always look forward to the FB live videos of Bob Heilig which he does every morning exactly at the same time) and what's important - consistently adding value!
