How to Find Your Niche - part 1

Students in medicine before deciding on their specialty, what kind of a doctor they want to be – do they want to be a psychiatrist for example or specialize in neurology, or to be a surgeon, before deciding on their field of expertise, they need to study, at least in my country for 2 or 3 years. They study general medicine. And this is so very important. Because body organs do not function separately. They are connected. What happens to one part reflects the others. That’s why it’s crucial that you have general knowledge of all of the systems.

The same, I believe, applies to other professions, too.

Speaking about coaches (as I work with new coaches and I have been working as a coach for almost 2 years now (I started on Dec 20, 2015), going through the same process, to find your niche, you need first of all to study all the fields – Finances, Relationships, Spirituality, Business, Physical, Emotional, Mental Health, Family, Time and Productivity, Goal Setting and so much more. Do not forget that everything is connected and you need to have at least general knowledge of these areas. In this process of learning and growing, taking actions and showing results, and at the same time coaching, I strongly believe that you will discover your niche! The niche will find you :-) Everything will come naturally. Without forcing things...

For now (and always), focus on...

Focus on constantly becoming more valuable - more valuable to the market place. This is the tip number 1 and the core of the success for me.

“The key to getting paid very well in the marketplace is to develop very valuable skills”

“Don’t bring your needs to the marketplace, bring your skills” Jim Rohn

Check out Part 2 of How to Find Your Niche too. There is a special exercise with a video to it!

For coaches, I also highly recommend that you read The Millionaire Messenger book by Brendon Burchard.
