The Daily Diet of Positive Words - Word of the Day 31 - Perfect

If you wait till your first audio, video or speech is perfect, you have waited for too long.

Preparation is important, but staying only in the preparation zone won't lead to success. Moreover, you can't expect to get success overnight. It's normal the first video or speech, or whatever it is to be not so good. You are going to get better with practice. Only in practice, you can see what is really working and what's not working. Everything else is just a guess.

And you have do a lot of practice - many videos and speeches, before people start to notice you and eventually buy from you. You have to provide value on a consistent basis, to "out teach" others.

My advice is to develop a sense of urgency, because in fact, there is no time. Tomorrow is promised to no one. William Yeats, once said, “Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot; but make it hot by striking.” Follow the 5 second rule, act immediately on your important task! Immediately act on an idea. Start doing it :-)

You don't need to start when everything is ready and perfect

📌 Just take the first step

📌 That's the base

My advice is to focus on the content. Content is the king! And this content will come from YOUR WHY. Everything you write and do should be in congruence with Your Why, with what you preach.

“Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.” Napoleon Hill

“The best way to get started is to start doing.” Walt Disney
